The Multi-Store Standardization Challenge

Before standardizing procurement, audit actual roll specs in use across a representative sample of stores rather than assuming uniformity.
Where full standardization isn’t feasible, most chains settle on 2-3 core specifications that cover 90%+ of their store fleet, sourcing outliers separately.

Supermarkets: High transaction volume, often itemized receipts favoring 80mm width and larger diameter rolls to reduce change frequency
