How Thermal Paper Works
Thermal paper carries a heat-sensitive coating that reacts to the print head’s localized heat, eliminating the need for ink cartridges or ribbons. It is used across cash registers, POS terminals, fuel pumps, barcode printers and labeling equipment.
At Kasetsan, the entire process — from raw paper sourcing to coating formulation, slitting and core injection — is managed under one roof, ensuring consistent thickness, sensitivity and print density across every batch.

Technical Details
Base Paper
48–80 g/m² grammage range (ISO 536), selected by application: lighter grades for POS, heavier for medical and archival use.
Heat-Sensitive Coating
Formulated in our own ink laboratory for consistent print density and reliable activation across printer models.
BPA Free
Compliant with EU REACH Regulation Annex XVII — Bisphenol A below the 0.02% weight threshold in effect since January 2020.
Custom Sizing
Widths from 56mm to 215mm, core diameters from 12mm to 80mm. Reverse-wind (thermal-in) available on request.
